Black Summer Truffle
The Black Summer Truffle or Tuber Aestivum is the most common of the truffles. Typically harvested from May to September they are not unlike the Perigord Black Winter Truffle, although not as intense an aroma. These are the cheapest of the truffles but still carry the distinct aroma and flavour that is uniquely truffle.
